(Springfield, IL) --  The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library is looking for the public's help in transcribing thousands of Civil War documents.  The thirty-thousand pages of documents are from Illinois Civil War governor Richard Yates Senior, covering everything from military correspondence to personal letters.  Library spokesperson Chris Wills says they're looking for history buffs to help transcribe them.  To join the project, visit www.chroniclingillinois.org.
