WBYS has teamed up with the Humane Society of Fulton County to help orphaned animals have a better chance of finding a home with our  "Pets of the Week" feature.  Each week the Humane Society chooses a different cat and dog to be our featured "Pets of the Week".  Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:45am Mark Bixler will bring you details on a cat and dog that are in need of their furever home.

Cat - Niles - 10-19-2021.jpg

Meet Niles

Niles is a really sweet guy and is the last of his litter to be adopted. He is estimated to be between ten and eleven months old and can't wait to find a home of his own.

He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.

If you want to learn more about Niles, call the shelter at 1-309-647-5077.

Meet Coal

Coal is a 3-4 year old Lab mix. He is a large dog around 62 lbs. He's an incredibly happy boy but can be a little over the top and would benefit from basic obedience training. He loves treats and love to chase a ball and play when he doesn't have the zoomies! He is a dominate dog and is selective of other dogs. Even though he might be okay with another dog we'd recommend he be the only dog in the home until he get a little training.
He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Adoption Fee: $150
We require a vet reference; and Landlord approval if you rent.

Please contact one of the volunteers at the shelter or one of the Dog Room coordinators if you’re interested in adopting this sweet dog.
