WBYS has teamed up with the Humane Society of Fulton County to help orphaned animals have a better chance of finding a home with our "Pets of the Week" feature. Each week the Humane Society chooses a different cat and dog to be our featured "Pets of the Week". Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:45am Mark Bixler will bring you details on a cat and dog that are in need of their furever home.
Annabelle is a super sweet girl who has really come out of her shell since she's been with us. She loves attention and to be petted, but she will likely need some time to adjust in her new home.
After seeing a vet, we found out she has a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur. She will need routine vet care to monitor her condition. Her quality of life is good, and she is very active, but it is possible that she may not live as long as a cat without a heart murmur. You can contact your vet for more information.
Annabelle is estimated to be between four and five years old and is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested (negative), flea treated, and dewormed.
Stop by the shelter today to meet your new best friend! You can also call the shelter to find out more information about Annabelle at 647-5077.
