WBYS has teamed up with the Humane Society of Fulton County to help orphaned animals have a better chance of finding a home with our "Pets of the Week" feature. Each week the Humane Society chooses a different cat and dog to be our featured "Pets of the Week". Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:45am Mark Bixler will bring you details on a cat and dog that are in need of their furever home.
Meet Silvia!
Cat of the Week-Silvia!
When Silvia arrived at the shelter, she had just weened five adorable kittens but still had milk. It just so happened that we had two separate tiny kittens come in that needed the nurturing and milk that only a mama cat can give. Silvia took them both as her own and was a wonderful mother to them. They have both been adopted, and now Silvia is ready for her forever home.
She is a very sweet but shy girl and prefers to watch things from an acceptable height. She did well with the dogs and adult cats in her foster home.
She is estimated to be between three and four years old and is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.

Meet Moses!
Dog of the Week this week, Meet Moses!
Moses was adopted from us in 2019 as a young boy. He was recently returned to us, no fault of his. His family was moving out of state and couldn't take him with due to where they would be living. This happens from time to time. Moses is 3 to 4 yrs old and around 35 pounds. He is crate trained and very treat motivated. He does have lots of energy but does well on a lead. May be a great running partner. Moses is looking for his new forever family. If you would like to meet Moses come by the shelter during adoption hours. Moses is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his vaccinations, heartworm negative and is on heartguard and flea treatment monthly
