WBYS has teamed up with the Humane Society of Fulton County to help orphaned animals have a better chance of finding a home with our "Pets of the Week" feature. Each week the Humane Society chooses a different cat and dog to be our featured "Pets of the Week". Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:45am Mark Bixler will bring you details on a cat and dog that are in need of their furever home.
Cass came to us pretty scared. He has been coming out of his shell, and we have recently found out he absolutely loves cuddling. He is a sweet guy who will definitely need some time and patience as he adjusts to his new home.
He is estimated to be about a year old and is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), and microchipped. For more information about Cass or to set up a time to meet him call 1-309-647-5077.
Ranger is a 4-5 year old Bluetick Coonhound. He's is 50 lbs and an absolutely wonderful dog! Ranger came to us as a stray and is a little underweight but a little TLC and he should be good to go! He love to wonder around and smell a lot; very typical of a hound. He's not super vocal but he does remind you he's at the shelter from time to time. He gets along well with other dogs. He's very gentle and sweet! He will make a wonderful family dog! He is up to date on all his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped 6/21/2021.
