WBYS has teamed up with the Humane Society of Fulton County to help orphaned animals have a better chance of finding a home with our  "Pets of the Week" feature.  Each week the Humane Society chooses a different cat and dog to be our featured "Pets of the Week".  Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9:45am Mark Bixler will bring you details on a cat and dog that are in need of their furever home.

Meet Piggy

Piggy is a super sweet guy who loves attention. He would make a great addition to any family. He loves to rub up to your legs and give kisses.

This handsome guy is 12.5 years young and can't wait to find his furever family. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.

Please consider opening your heart and home to a senior kitty! To learn more about Piggy you can call the shelter at 647-5077.

Meet Lucy

Lucy is a really sweet 9 year old senior dog. We believe she is a Lab/Dalmatian mix. She gets along with other dogs; we aren't sure about cats. We would not recommend her for a home with younger children because she can be territorial and has guarding behavior.

Lucy is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, microchipped and she tested heartworm negative.

Adoption Fee: $120

We require a vet reference; and Landlord approval if you rent.

Please contact one of the volunteers at the shelter or one of the Dog Room coordinators if your interested in adopting this sweet dog. You can reach one of the coordinators at dogs@humanesocietyfc.org. Or give us a call at the shelter. 309-647-5077.
