Position: Senior Account Manager
Job Description: Spoon River Media, LLC is seeking a FULL TIME, experienced sales professional to represent the TOP BILLING account list at 94.1 BYS & Q98.1 Radio. If you’re outgoing, creative, self-motivated, tenacious, detail-oriented, money motivated, have sales experience and reliable transportation, then we’d like to talk to you about joining Spoon River Media. Prior media or business to business sales experience is preferred, but not required. As a member of the Spoon River Media team, you’d be responsible for building and managing a client list, primarily by developing relationships with the business community inside and surrounding Fulton County, IN.
As an Account Manager, your daily responsibilities would include:

Prospecting, developing and cultivating new business for 94.1 BYS, Q98.1, and SpoonRiverNews.com.

Setting up and conducting face-to-face meetings with qualified prospects.

Constructing and presenting proposals/contracts and creative concepts to business decision makers that address their marketing needs.

Negotiating business deals and acquiring prospect commitment.

Managing relationships with clients.

Communicating ongoing contact/sales activities to sales management team.

Achieving individual monthly and annual sales objectives.

Position: Part Time Office Manager
Job Description: Spoon River Media, LLC is seeking a part time Office Manager for our Canton, IL office. Previous office experience is preferred, however we will train you if you’re the right person for the position. The ideal candidate would be able to work 15 to 20 hours per week during business hours and have a warm/friendly out-going personality, general office clerical skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite software. Social media and website management knowledge/experience would be beneficial.
Job responsibilities would include being our “Director of First Impressions” (greeting visitors, answer main phone line, and facilitate all needs of our visitors/callers in a positive manner). Organizing all prizes given away by our radio stations and prepare for pick up by winners. Maintain content on our website, including current updates, process inquiries from website, help with content layout and marketing site content through Social Media updates. Perform weekly and monthly billing for 94.1 BYS and Q98.1 radio. Receive, Record, Post Payments to customer accounts and make Deposits at bank. Input sales orders for certain “House” accounts. Order and inventory office supplies.

Position: Part Time On-Air Personality
Job Description: Spoon River Media, LLC is seeking multiple part time On-Air Personalities for the most listened radio stations in Fulton County...94.1 BYS and Q98.1 radio. Previous On-Air experience is not necessary - we will train you if you’re the right person for the position.
The ideal candidate for this position has great charisma, good story telling and communication skills, an independent thinker, has a magnetic personality, has basic computer skills, and someone who generally likes being around people.
Hours will vary depending on need, but responsibilities could include On-Air disc jockey, occasional fill-in for vacationing air staff, and voiceover for commercials/promos. In addition to regular On-Air responsibilities, you could be asked to assist and represent the station at station promotions and community events and eventually as a talent for remote broadcasts.
