Suspect Being Sought In Wednesday Night Shooting In Peoria

(Peoria, IL) -- Police in Peoria are looking for a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place Wednesday night. Authorities say that a woman was shot in the head in the 2600 block of Maryland Street at about 6:15 last night. Police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident that was domestic related. Police say the suspect is an African American man who stands about 5'7". The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket as well as work boots. Metamora Teen Injured In Accident In Washington

(Washington, IL) -- A teenager from Metamora is hospitalized after a two car accident that took place in Washington on Wednesday. Authorities say the accident happened yesterday afternoon at about 3 at the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and Nofsinger Road. One of the cars was carrying three teenage girls and was westbound on on Route 24 when a van did not stop at a stop sign and collided with the car carrying the teenage girls. One of the teens was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria to be treated for injuries suffered in the accident. Authorities say the other two teens did suffer injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital. The driver of the van was cited for failure to yield.

Bond Set For Peoria Shooting Suspect

(Peoria, IL) -- A Peoria man being held in connection with a shooting that took place in Peoria last week was in Peoria County Circuit Court for a bond hearing on Wednesday. Bond for 20-year old Dion Graham was set at $150,000. Graham has been charged with aggravated battery and is accused in a shooting that took place in the 2200 block of North Ellis Street Friday night. Authorities say that the injuries the victim suffered are considered non-life threatening. Graham is due back in Peoria County Circuit Court for a preliminary hearing in early January.
