Filing For Canton Park District Commissioner Seat To Be Held

(Canton, IL) -- The Canton Park District has one commissioner that will be elected in the upcoming elections that will take place in April. The term is for six years. Anyone wishing to run for the position will have to file for the position. The filing period will take place between December 15th and 22nd. Petitions will be accepted at the Canton Park District Office that is located at 250 South Avenue D. The office hours are between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. On Monday, December 22nd, the office will remain open until 5 p.m.
