Senate Approves Raise For Jurors

(Springfield, IL) -- The Senate is signing on to a deal that will pay people more for jury duty and that includes jurors in the 9th Judicial Circuit that includes Fulton County. They approved a bill that would award them 25-dollars for the first day of service and 50-dollars each day after. Right now, jurors can make up to ten-bucks a day in some areas. The bill is now headed to Governor Quinn's desk.
