Changes In Store For Voter Registration Laws

(Springfield, IL) -- There could be some changes in store for voters in Fulton County. Lawmakers in Springfield are hoping to give people the right to register on Election Day from this point on. They gave a trial run at same day registrations last month, and thousands of extra people showed up at the polls. There were some bumps along the way but lawmakers say it was a success, overall. A committee will hear details about the plan later this afternoon.
