Snow Shoveling Can Cause Heart Trouble
(Undated) -- The snowstorm hitting New York is being blamed for five deaths, and some of those are due to heart attacks while shoveling snow. Doctor Seth Podolsky says certain conditions put you at a higher risk for heart trouble. When you head out to clear the snow, make sure you pace yourself and try pushing the snow instead of lifting it. Older people who don't exercise on a regular basis should ask someone else to shovel the snow.
