Cuba School Board Holds November Meeting

(Cuba, IL) – The Fulton County Community Unit School District 3, located in Cuba recently held their November meeting. Two individuals were in attendance to discuss proposals for bus leasing. They were Matt Lawrence from Midwest Transit and Randy Swanson from Midwest Bus Sales. Lawrence proposed three options for the district. One for 1 year, a 1 ½ year option and a 1 ½ year option with deferred payment until after July 1, 2015. Swanson proposed two options, a 1 year or a 3 year option. Both proposals by Swanson included the allowance for six buses being traded in by the district. The board decided that they need more information before making a decision on leasing. The school board meeting took place on Monday night and was held at the unit office located in Cuba.
