Vote Tally Coming In For Treasurer's Race

(Springfield, IL) -- The final vote tallies are coming in for the state Treasurer's race, which still hasn't been called. Republican Tom Cross led the way by less than one-percent of the vote on election night. Democrat Mike Frerichs refused to concede with such a small margin so he's been holding out for all of the absentee and provisional votes to be counted. That may actually work in his favor. The latest count puts Frerichs up by several-thousand-votes.
