Crop Harvest In West Central Illinois And The Rest Of Illinois

(Undated) -- Corn and Soybean harvest is nearing completion in in west central Illinois and in the rest of the state. With nearly six days suitable for fieldwork this past week, Illinois Crop Statistician Todd Ballard says farmers are winding up the season. 95-percent of Soybeans have been harvested, which compares to 97-percent for the five year average. 92-percent of Sorghum has been harvested and 90-percent of the Winter Wheat crop has been planted.
