Warming Centers Now Open

(Springfield, IL) -- Warming centers are now open to people who need to beat the cold. They're located at Illinois Department of Human Services offices throughout the state and are open between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. That includes the center located in Lewistown. The Tollway Oases in the Chicago area are also being used as

warming centers and are open 24-hours-a-day, seven-days a week.
