National Lung Cancer Awareness Month

(Undated) -- November is National Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Robert Welsh says there is great hope for lung cancer patients because of a new screening protocol. As of earlier this year patients meeting certain guidelines to are now able to undergo annual lung cancer screenings. Dr. Welsh says that in addition to better diagnostics he's seen great progress when it comes to treating lung cancer.
