Lawmakers Back In Session
(Springfield, IL) -- Lawmakers are back in session today. There are a few things on the docket during this veto session, including a plan to revamp the state's method for funding schools. A legislative committee will hear details about the plan during a hearing this afternoon. Governor Quinn wants lawmakers to pass a bill boosting the minimum wage to ten-dollars-an-hour but that could be difficult, considering Republicans haven't been on board with that idea.
