(Undated) -- U.S. Representative Cheri Bustos and U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Mark Kirk introduced legislation last week that would honor the legacy and public service achievements of former U.S. Representative from Illinois, Lane Evans. The legislation would name a veterans facility in Galesburg, the "Lane A. Evans VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Evans passed away earlier this month, losing his long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Evans represented the 17th Congressional District in Illinois, the same district that current Representative Cheri Bustos represents. The 17th Congressional District in Illinois includes Fulton County.
