Police Officers Sue The Town Of Normal

(Normal, IL) -- A group of Normal police officers are suing their town leaders. The three cops claim the police department is forcing them to write a certain number of tickets or face discipline. The plaintiffs say their bosses are enforcing an illegal quota system. The suit claims that officers are required to write one traffic ticket per working day. They also must make two criminal arrests each month and write four ordinance violation tickets per month.
