Peoria Heights Accidents Claims Life Of Teen

(Peoria Heights, IL) -- A teen boy was killed after being struck by a truck on a Peoria Heights road. Authorities say the accident happened at the intersection of War Memorial Drive and Illinois on Thursday night at about 5:30. 13-year old Dillon Fisher was killed as he was crossing the street while on his bike. Fisher was pronounced dead about an hour after the accident by the Peoria County Coroner. An autopsy is scheduled to take place today.
