Hunters Should Make Reservations For Shooting Range

(Undated) -- Hunters who plan to hit the state police shooting ranges this weekend should remember to call and make a reservation. Ranges in Joliet, Effingham, Macomb, Pawnee, and Pittsfield will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday so hunters can make sure their shotguns are properly sighted. Targets will be provided but hunters should bring their own ammunition. And, they should remember to carry the unloaded shotgun in a secure case. For hunters who live in the Fulton County area, the closest state police range is located in Macomb.
