American Legion Issues Report On Treatment Of American Military Veterans

(Undated) -- As U.S. Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald works to unsnarl problems the Veterans Administration, the American Legion is out with a report about how well he's implementing the new VA Reform Law. It says there's progress in clearing out the backlog of veterans waiting for medical care. American Legion spokesman Roscoe Butler says the effort is also helping veterans get delayed benefits. The legion has been sending representatives all over the country as part of the effort and hopes to have a delegation in the Seattle area by January or February.
