Illinois Chamber Will Fight Wage Hike

(Springfield, IL) -- Business leaders say they'll be fighting against Governor Pat Quinn's plan to raise the minimum wage. Todd Maisch, with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, says boosting the wage will force businesses to cut jobs. That's one reason why Republicans in Springfield have been reluctant to support the hike. And, they've given no indication that they'll give the plan a thumbs up now, even though Quinn wants it to be part of his lasting legacy as governor of Illinois.
