Dickson Mounds Museum Program Receives Award

(Lewistown, IL) -- A program offered at Dickson Mounds Museum near Lewistown has received an award. Christa Christensen's Tot Time Program has received an Award of Merit from the Illinois Association of Museums. Tot Time introduces young children, ages 1 through 5, to a variety of subjects from fish to clouds and much in between through presentations and hands on activities, especially the production of things that may be taken home for further enjoyment. The once a month program has attracted a large following of tots and parents, grandparents and day care providers.
