SRC Named To The Military Friendly Schools List

(Canton, IL) -- Spoon River College has once again been named to the Military Friendly Schools list by Victory Media. The list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America's military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus. Travis Brown, new financial aid specialist for veterans at SRC and a veteran himself, has firsthand experience with navigating the process of using the veteran’s services. Brown says that he hopes that his military background plus his personal experience of using the benefits will enable him to better help the veterans who want to continue their education.
