Election Day Has Arrived

(Undated) -- Election Day is finally here. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Anyone in line when the polls close at 7:00 will be allowed to vote. In the meantime, a new law also allows people to register at the last minute this year. Anyone who didn't get a chance to sign up before today can do so at most polling places. Contact your elections authority to find out which ones are offering same day registration. More information is available at Elections.IL.gov.
