Dentist Advises Moderation When It Comes To Kids And Candy

(Undated) -- Some parents worry that their trick or treaters could have problems with their teeth from all that Halloween candy. Dentist David Kem says parents should make sure that their children brush effectively. Kem says it's good to have them brush at least twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and, if the water is fluoridated, to drink more water. He believes moderation is the key and if you strictly forbid candy from kids, they will want it more.
