State Farm Wants To Use Drones
(Bloomington, IL) -- State Farm wants to use drones to evaluate property damage and respond to catastrophes. The unmanned drones would fly no higher than 400 feet when heading out to evaluate things like fire damage to tornado aftermath. The Bloomington-based insurance company is asking the federal government to approve the plan. Company officials say using the drones is just one of the options they're considering to better serve their customers.
