Unemployment Down In Every Metro Area

(Springfield, IL) -- The unemployment rate is steadily going down in every metropolitan area in the state. Decatur has seen the biggest improvement over the past year, with the rate dropping from 12-point-two-percent to seven-point-nine-percent. The Bloomington, Normal area has the lowest unemployment in the state, at five-point-six-percent. That's down from just over seven-percent compared to September of 2013.
