Republicans Sue Over Elections Procedures

(Rock Island, IL) -- Republicans are suing Rock Island County over elections procedures. GOP County Chair Bill Bloom says elections officials are violating state law because they're already opening absentee ballots and running them through the tabulator. He says that could have a negative impact on Republican candidate for governor, Bruce Rauner. Bloom wants a judge to intervene and ensure that the ballots can stay sealed until Election Day.
