Traffic Stop Yields Bank Robbery Suspect
(Joliet, IL) -- The FBI says a man arrested during a traffic stop yesterday in Joliet has now been charged with robbing an Orland Park Bank earlier this month. The FBI says 26-year-old Carl Wilson of Joliet is the man who robbed a branch of the First Midwest Bank in Orland Park October 13th. In that incident, the armed robber fired a handgun twice, once at a teller and once at a customer, but didn't hit anyone. The FBI says fingerprint evidence links Wilson to the robbery.
Double Fatal Accident In Bloomington
(Bloomington, IL) -- McLean County police are investigating a double fatal accident. It happened Thursday night on Old Colonial Road near Sassafras Street in Bloomington. A man and a child were found dead on the side of the road. Police suspect they were struck by a pickup truck.
