4-H & Master Gardeners Hear About Hummingbirds

(Lewistown, IL) -- When Janis Blout invited Fulton County 4-H members to a hummingbird banding at Lois White's Hummingbird Haven near Bernadotte, Master Gardener Program Coordinator Jullia Pryor jumped on the bandwagon and shared the invitation with the Master Gardeners in Fulton, Mason, Peoria and Tazewell counties. At the event held earlier this year, hummingbird expert Lois White shared a wealth of information about the beautiful birds, including ways to attract hummingbirds, their lifestyle, impact of weather and native food sources.
