Walmart Lowers Full-Year Sales Growth Forecast

(Undated) -- Walmart is cutting its forecast for full-year sales growth. The biggest retailer in the world is apparently being hurt by a stronger dollar and last year's cut in the government food stamp program. In February the company said net sales growth was expected to be in the low three-to-five-percent range, but now sales are expected to rise only two-to-three-percent from last year. Walmart has a store located in Canton.
