Gas Prices Headed Down

(Undated) -- Drivers in Fulton County and other parts of west central Illinois and the rest of the state are catching a big break at the pump these days. Gas prices have been going down over the past couple of weeks and Patrick DeHaan, with GasBuddy.com, says that trend could last a few more months. Gas prices are as low two-eighty-five in the Springfield area. Places like Bloomington, Rock Island, Quincy and East St. Louis are also seeing prices dip below three-bucks-a-gallon. The national average is coming in at around three-16-a-gallon. In Canton, in some areas, prices fell to $2.99 a gallon.
