(Undated) -- It's not uncommon for people in Illinois to prepare for things like floods and tornadoes, but they don't often consider what they'll do in the event of an earthquake. State officials say parts of Illinois sit on a fault line so people should take steps to prepare. They're encouraging families, schools, and businesses to participate in the Great Shakeout Earthquake drill this Thursday at 10:16 a.m. More than 530-thousand-people are planning to take part in the event. Anyone who wants to join the drill and get prep info can get information at Shakeout.org.
