October Off To Cold, Wet Start
(Undated) -- The month of October is off to a cold and wet start. State Climatologist Jim Angel says the average temperature has come in at about 56-degrees and average precipitation is two-and-a-half-inches. The National Weather Service is reporting more rain in the forecast for the next seven days. Places in northern Illinois could see up to an inch of rain. Areas in far southern Illinois could see about three-inches.
