Peoria Park District Votes To Make Cuts, Close Golf Course

(Peoria, IL) -- Peoria Park District officials will be making some decisions that will help to fix a huge budget deficit. The park board voted Wednesday night to close Leo Donovan Golf Course and convert it into a park. They also voted to stop funding Central Park Pool, starting March 2015. The Peoria Area Water Wizards, the main users of the pool, will still have a chance to continue swimming there.
