Online Shopping Will Save Consumers Billions

(Undated) -- Consumers will be relying more than ever on their smartphones, tablets and laptops to find the best deals this holiday season. Senior editor for RetailMeNot.com, Trae Bodge says a new survey is showing that American shoppers are expected to save billions of dollars from deals online and on their phones. Bodge added that 80-percent of shoppers they surveyed use websites that offer savings. Bodge says that consumers spent nearly 50-billion dollars online for last year's holiday shopping and that is expected to increase even more this year.
