Simon, Durbin To Tour Rock Island Arsenal

(Rock Island, IL) -- Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon is joining U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and Congresswoman Cheri Bustos in the Quad Cities today. They'll be touring the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center at the Rock Island Arsenal. The tour will help the politicians get an idea on how to move forward at the arsenal. A U.S. Senate subcommittee is considering a bill that would invest more than 200-million-dollars in jobs on Arsenal Island and at other arsenals across the country.
