Illinois State Assistant Professor Receives Grant For Brain Study
(Peoria, IL) -- An assistant professor at Illinois State University has been awarded a grant of over a half million dollars to study neurons in the brain. Wolfgang Stein was awarded the grant of $510,000 from the National Science Foundation. Stein is an Assistant Professor of Cellular Neurophysiology at ISU. He as worked at the university since 2012. The grant money will be used to study neuron impulses.
