Galesburg Public Housing Tower Fighting Bed Bugs

(Galesburg, IL) -- The public housing authority in Knox County is fighting a bedbug infestation in one of its apartment buildings. Executive director Derek Antoine says 23 of the one-hundred-77 apartments in the city's Moon Towers have reported bedbugs this year. Those rooms are being sprayed three times over several weeks to eradicate the pests, and staffers will inspect all furniture being brought in to make sure the bugs aren't being reintroduced.
