Dixon Prison Warden Retires

(Dixon, IL) -- The Dixon Correctional Center warden has retired from her post. Nedra Chandler had been on paid administrative leave while under investigation from the Illinois Department of Corrections. The investigation started when police arrested Robert Swon on child pornography charges at her home. Swon is a registered sex offender and had been living at her home since shortly after he was released from prison late last year. Chandler had been working at the prison for 29 years and had been the warden since 2005.
