U of I Extension Holds Youth Camps at Camp Clover

(Lewistown, IL) -- "Zumba", "Inside out pizzas", Fruit kabobs", Trying on the Fireman"s Gear", "Baby Shark song"! These were just a few of the responses when asked what their favorite experience at Camp Clover was this year. Camp Clover reached over 100 youth this summer in several communities in Peoria County, including Bartonville, Elmwood, Peoria and Peoria Heights. For the month of June, the camps focused on nutrition and phsyical fitness with "Shake and Bake " themed camps, while the focus shifted in July to local careers and environmental stewardship with "Everyday Superhero camps.
