Congresswoman Takes Heat For Breaking Campaign Promise
(Moline, IL) -- Congresswoman Cherri Bustos is taking heat over a campaign promise that she didn't keep. She said she'd cut her own pay by ten-percent if she was elected two years ago but she never made good on the deal. Bustos says she made a mistake and spoke too soon, without clearing it with her husband first. She beat out Bobby Schilling back in 2012 but he's trying to get his job back. He says the fact that Bustos broke her promise is proof that she can't be trusted.
