It’s National Farm Safety And Health Week

(Canton, IL) -- National Farm Safety and Health Week is currently taking place. Elaine Stone, the Manager of the Fulton County Farm Bureau says that harvest has just gotten underway in Fulton County. Stone wants to remind farmers to be safe and to remind motorists to be on the lookout for slow moving farm vehicles. Stone added that if you are approaching a slow moving farm vehicle to slow down as quick as possible. She added that if you are a football field length away from the farm vehicle driving the speed limit, it only takes five seconds to be on top of the farm vehicle.
