SRC Holding Alumni Association Awards Reception and Hall of Fame Induction Next Month

(Canton, IL) -- Spoon River College will be holding their annual Alumni Association Awards Reception and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction next month. This year's recipients of the Alumni Achievement Award will be given to Jane Nimmo Myers, Kevin Metzger, Ken Long, Steve Moore and Dr. Ruben Gayon. The Distinguished Retiree Award will be given to Ed Georgieff. Also honored posthumously with the award will be Marion Guyton. Mike Martin was chosen to receive the Outstanding Leadership Award by the Spoon River College Foundation Board of Directors. Athletic Hall of Fame inductees this year will be William "BJ" McCullum and Dr. Randy Klinedinst. The event will be taking place on Saturday, October 11th in Lower Centers on the Canton Campus. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a pasta dinner taking place at 5:30 and the program beginning at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
