Harvest Running Behind In Illinois

(Undated) -- Harvest progress is running a little behind in Illinois. Six percent of corn has now been harvested says Illinois Crop Statistician Mark Schleusener. That compares to 23 percent harvested for the five year average. 83-percent of corn and 76 percent of soybeans are rated in good to excellent condition. As for other crops, three percent of sorghum has been harvested and the third cutting of alfalfa is now 98-percent complete.
