Highest Paid Earners In Illinois Get More Money
(Springfield, IL) -- There may be some semblance of truth to the old saying that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. U.S. Census Bureau numbers show that the state's highest paid earners have been getting more money over the past five years. "Illinois Issues" Magazine reports that people who make just over 363-thousand-dollars-a-year have seen their pay go up by about six-point-four-percent since 2008. But the median household income, which falls just over 56-thousand-dollars-a-year, has pretty much remained the same.
