Bustos Visits Canton

(Canton, IL) -- Congresswoman Cheri Bustos of the 17th Congressional District of Illinois paid a visit to Canton last week. Bustos stopped in Canton to visit the Fulton Mason Crisis Service Friday afternoon in recognition of the 20th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act being signed into law. While at the local crisis service, Representative Bustos met with the services Executive Director, Phyllis Todd as well as other staff members. She also met with the Police Chief of Canton, Kent McDowell and Police Officer Candi Arnold. Also Canton Mayor Jeff Fritz declared October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Canton.
