Hickory Ridge Concert Series Presenting Specials Afternoon Of Music

(Lewistown, IL) -- The Hickory Ridge Concert Series will forego it's traditional 3rd Saturday schedule and present an afternoon of live music this weekend. The "mini Festival" celebrates the co- 20th anniversaries of the Hickory Ridge Concert series and the re-dedication of Dickson Mounds Museum. Hickory Ridge Artistic Director Chris Vallillo says that the Dickson mounds Museum has been an outstanding partner and represents a tremendous resource for the region. The afternoon of live music will take place this Sunday and will be from 2 until 5 p.m. The music will take place on the outdoor stage and begins at 2 and features series host, Chris Vallillo, Bucky Halker, Dennis Stroughmatt, Rocky Maffit, Steve Endsley and Nathan Taylor.
