(Peoria, IL) -- A Peoria hospital official says they have isolated a person being treated for a contagious skin condition called Norwegian Scabies. They say the patient received aggressive treatment in isolation at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. No other patients were exposed. As a precaution, employees who had contact with the patient, prior to the diagnosis, were treated. Any employee with symptoms was not permitted to work until treatment was completed.
