Myers Inducted Into Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame

(Canton, IL) -- A resident of Fulton County was recently honored during the Illinois State Fair in Springfield last month. Charlotte Ann Myers was inducted into the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame on August 9th during a ceremony that took place on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Myers has been a 4-H leader for 40 plus years. Her mother, Virginia Barnard, started her 67th year of being a 4-H leader this year. The 4-H Hall of Fame was started in 2004 by the Illinois 4-H Foundation. The 4-H Hall of Fame recognizes by honoring and celebrating extraordinary 4-H alumni, volunteers as well as former 4-H staff. Nominations of individuals to be inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame are made by University of Illinois Extension staff.
