SRV Board Approves Posting Fiscal Year 2015 Budget

(London MIlls, IL) -- The Spoon River Valley Community School District # 4 held their monthly board meeting earlier this month. During the meeting, the board heard a presentation from Superintendent Scot Reynolds about the proposed 2015 budget. He told the board the state aid continues to remain flat at 88.9-percent prorated and that transportation projected at 72 percent. He added that early childhood grant is level and that the declining average daily attendance has resulted in less state aid. The board approved the posting of the tentative Fiscal Year 2015 school budget unanimously by a 6-0 vote. The school board met in the Board of Education Room at Spoon River Valley High School on August 11th.
